Where are the Chinese churches in Sydney?

Not long ago, my friend Andrew Hong put on his blog a really cool map of all the known Chinese Christian churches in Sydney.

Here's an interactive version of the same map (thanks to Ernest Chiang):
http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=116534162174538081918.000456f785aa7dd4856ce&z=8

Note: As mentioned by Andrew in his post:
Please note also that this is a very broad classification of churches - it includes charismatic churches, health-wealth-prosperity churches, Vietnamese churches, Indonesian churches and even a Unichurch!
Therefore the use of the words "Chinese" and "Christian" is very inclusive.... so becareful! ;)

Hi Andy and Tracy,
My name is Sara Cheng and I'm originally from HK. I'm actually working in US now for a rich media advertising company. My company is transferring me to Sydney in this coming March for a year to train the new office in Sydney. I was wondering if you have any recommendation about churches in Sydney area? I'm completely new to Sydney and don't know much about it but would love to find a home church for my stay in Australia :)

Hi Sara!

I apologise for the very late reply as I didn't realise there was a comment on this post.

Please let me know where you'll be staying so that I could give you a recommendation that's not far from your residence.

Hi Andy :)
Not a problem at all. I'll be staying at Kogarah area :) My office is at Surry Hills but I figure I will just take the train to work :)

Sara,

If you're living in Kogarah, I'll recommend Kogarah Grace Chinese Christian Church:
http://www.gracechurch.org.au/

There's also Kirkplace Presbyterian Church which is a purely English speaking church:

Surry Hills... you'll need to catch a train to Central from Kogarah, then do some walking (or bus if far).

Thanks for your comments Liam! It's great to know that this organisation exists to help kids in China... praise God!

Let me know how you would like us to help.
